Based in Middlesbrough town centre, Industry Coffee House, owned by Lisa Devanny, is a local café committed to high-quality coffee, cakes, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Lisa sought assistance from Like Us to improve her business’s online presence, attract more customers, and build brand recognition within the local community and beyond. The project included comprehensive marketing support, video content creation, Meta (formerly Facebook) ad management, and developing a modern, user-friendly website.
While Industry Coffee House has a loyal customer base, Lisa recognised that her digital presence was underdeveloped, limiting their ability to reach a wider audience.
The café lacked a structured marketing plan, engaging video content, and a professional website. Additionally, the café’s existing social media presence wasn’t optimised, and the ads on Meta weren’t generating the desired traffic or conversions. This is where Like Us’ business support came in.
The marketing team here at Like Us worked closely with Lisa to develop a tailored strategy, providing her with:
Marketing Support: A detailed plan to enhance brand awareness, increase customer engagement, and drive traffic to both the physical location and online platforms.
Video Content Creation: We produced high-quality, engaging videos that highlighted the café’s unique offerings, such as artisan coffee, fresh pastries, and the cosy atmosphere, helping to communicate its brand story visually.
Meta Ad Support: We optimised Meta ads to reach targeted audiences, refining the ad copy and imagery and targeting for improved engagement and ROI.
Website Creation: A clean, modern, and responsive website was designed to showcase the café’s menu, story, and location while providing an easy way for customers to make inquiries and find information.
With these new marketing tools, Industry Coffee House has experienced a significant increase in foot traffic and online engagement. Our professionally produced video content has led to higher social media interaction and engagement, and the optimised Meta ads saw an increase in click-through rates and conversions.
The new website has also improved the café’s online visibility, making learning about the business more accessible for potential customers, resulting in increased commerce and a more robust overall digital presence.
This project is delivered on behalf of Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority and is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
